THE TRASSELS from Tampere are one energetic, far-driven Punk Rock''n''Roll outfit from Finnland. This 5-piece graduated right at the Rock''n''Roll High School and serves a dirty rollin'' Garage-Cocktail of Flaming Sideburns and the Hives. The Band released 3 own 7"es and three Split 7" on several Labels all over the world since the beginning of 1999. The first Full-Length Album is now released by your favorite label, Lonestar Records. Their debut album features several numbers of hits. I just mention “Heads, Hearts and Flowers”, “Downtown” or “Shake it!” amongst others. During the years the band played billions of shows and everything went well. Always hittin’ hard. The Band rocks with style and ability and brings you a combination of several R&R ingredients. Always touching. Thats why the band got many fans in their homecountry and is definitely one of the biggest Indie-bands up there. Musicaly the Trassels developed quite a lot over the years. The early sound could be described as rough punk rock. With the time they added their 60’s Garage Rock, 70s Rock’n’Roll- and even Blues and Soul- influences.
