Definitely one of THE most 'iconic' and classic albums by the Italian act! Entirely recorded at
the legendary Blackwing Studios (famous for the first recordings of Depeche Mode, Yazoo...)
in London. Recorded and mixed with John Fryer, the album includes the highly successful
singles 'Austria' and 'Eclipse', re-recorded a dozen times in the years to follow...
But there is so much more on here:
"The Christ' is - in my opinion - one of the best songs ever written by Angelo Bergamini
"River of no Return" is probably the most 'rocky' and unusual song in the 40+ years of
existance of Kirlian Camera.
'Celephais' is definitely one of the saddest tracks ever recorded, spreading desolation
and loneliness as few other songs
the 10 minutes lasting 'Tor Zwei', an amazing symphonic masterpiece...
...and 'Epitaph' finally is a brilliant and charming cover of the King Crimson classic.
Lead vocals by Angelo Bergamini and Bianca Hoffmann, who replaced the original KC singer
Simona Buja and ONLY sung on this album with Kirlian Camera.
