30 years after the release of the self-titled debut album, "Electric Orange" is now finally being pressed on vinyl. The double LP comes on 180g heavyweight, orange-marbled vinyl, housed in a gatefold sleeve. Dirk Jan Muller has had an interest in ''70''s German underground music since 1988 and his passion for bands such as Amon Duul, Tangerine Dream, Nektar, Neu and Can resulted in his collection synthesisers, keyboards, amps and various pieces of ''70''s musical equipment. From his home studio he released a couple of underground tapes of electronic music which began to circulate on the cassette network ("Octopus''s Garden and "Time Signals") until in 1992 a UK company called Electronic Dreams released "Time Signals". Meanwhile Dirk began work on the debut Electric Orange album bringing in a number of other musicians and a wealth of instrumentation such as hammond organ, sax, flute, assorted percussion, samples and electric guitars and By March 1994 the German underground electronic label "Manikin" had released the album on CD. Called simply "Electric Orange" it was a stunning mixture of early ''70s Kraut Rock and psychedelic space rock styles but with a totally modern sound, updating the genre with new technology and production values. The album rapidly became a sought after release, however it was very badly distributed and seemed to be doomed to cult status, that is until Delerium records discovered it and purchased the rights. Albumet är inspelat i Halmstad och till största delen bestående av duetter med en rad starkt lysande sångare och artister. - På något sätt verkar det vara mitt öde ända sedan Marie Fredriksson och jag började samarbeta i Roxette - mina låtar blir alltid snäppet bättre när en annan stark personlighet kommer in i bilden och tillför sin unika grej, ler Per. På "Beredd" är det Molly Hammar och Per som samsas vid mikrofonen - på ett sätt som gör upphovsmannen lätt lyrisk. -Molly är en av mina absoluta favoritsångerskor. Hon har den där magiska kraften som gör att man inte kan sluta att lyssna på henne. Jag är så stolt att hon ville vara med. - När Per ringde och frågade om jag ville göra "Beredd" med honom så kände jag mig väldigt ärad och det var en självklarhet för mig att göra det. Det är en generationsöverskridande låt på många sätt då jag relaterar till den på många plan så som jag tror andra kommer göra, och när Per Gessle ringer finns det inget annat svar än ja. Inspelningen gick nästan oförskämt enkelt. Molly kom ner till Sweetspot-studion i Harplinge utanför Halmstad, tog en mikrofon, satte sig i en soffa och testade lite. - Efter andra tagningen var det klart - hur självklart som helst, berättar Per. "Sällskapssjuk" är ett väldigt spännande album och projekt för mig. Det är en underbar utmaning både som låtskrivare och producent att försöka få ihop pusslet av olika röster och talanger. Molly-låten är först ut. Sen kommer det mer.

Do Something Good innehåller tio låtar, om jag själv skulle beskriva det, nån slags retropop med country-och 70-talsinfluenser med mycket trumpet. Låtarna handlar om att göra livet meningsfullt, ta vara på tiden och dina chanser, att man aldrig blir fullärd, vardagsbekymmer, världsproblem, rädsla, längtan och kärlek. Nicole Sabouné will release her fourth album "Kismet", a soundtrack that no one ordered or asked for but which fits perfectly with the listener''s everyday, miserable or wonderful life. A both powerful and intimate song cycle that is tied together by a recurring melodic theme and whose sonic ideal was taken from the idea that it would be a soundtrack to a Sofia Coppola film. "I wanted it to feel grand but at the same time fragile, I like how Sofia Coppola often succeeds in conveying just that feeling," says Nicole. On the album, where there are also influences from both krautrock and Massive Attack, Nicole Sabouné has written some of the songs herself and others together with Billy Cervin. In addition, Nicklas Stenemo (Kite) and Björn Yttling (Peter Bjorn and John, Lykke Li) figure as songwriters on each song. Jon Bordon has been a co-producer - together with Nicole and Billy - as well as mixing.
