2LP - DAD - SPEED OF DARKNESS 2024 Studio album

Earlier this year, D-A-D turned 40 and went to a museum. But the party doesn't stop there. The quartet is buzzing and has written 40 new songs since their previous album, A 'Prayer For The Loud', released in 2019. Of these, the four musicians have selected the 14 best for their new double album 'Speed Of Darkness', which will be released on October 4th.
Some would say that's an understatement, as it's been many years since the four musicians agreed that the quality of new songs for an upcoming album was as high as it is today.

Jesper Binzer adds: "I'm really excited about the new batch of songs - I can't wait for the fans to hear the rest of the album. It's SO much D-A-D and so much better!"

In many ways, 2024 will be a remarkable year for D-A-D. Very few bands manage to stay together for 40 years without a break, but to do so as one of the country's best and most popular rock bands, with an even bigger audience outside the country, is remarkable. It's more than that, according to Stig Pedersen: "Just turning 40 as a band is insane. We are a social experiment!", he says.
