LP - ERIK LAZAROFF & HÖKARNA - ÖPPEN RIDÅ Swedish power rock in the veins of Hellacopters By the Grace of God

Erik Lazaroff & Hökarna från Stockholm spelar rock rotad i skarven mellan 60 & 70-talet där de flesta av rockens klassiska dinosaurier finns som influens, men där de svenska texterna ger ett intimare och mer direkt tilltal. 2019 släpptes debutalbumet Under Hökens Vingar på Lightning Records, en skiva som självaste Pugh gav det korta och koncisa omdömet "Så jävla bra!". 

Öppen Ridå, recorded and produced by Jörgen "Jugglo" Wall ( Thåström, Hellacopters, Stefan Sundström and others) in the classic Kapsylen Studio on Södermalm in Stockholm. Mixing is handled by Ola Ersfjord ( Imperial State Electric, Lucifer etc.) just like on the last album.
The singles Tomgångsblues, Guds Händer and the title track Öppen Ridå, which precede the album release, show the direction of the record, which is a natural continuation of the debut record.
"It's the same two to three chords that still write the songs, but there is perhaps a little more focus on swing and groove than on the last record. More Stones, Stooges & AC/DC simply. It suited the songs, and with Jugglo as producer, the pieces fell into place during the recording. We had a lot of fun in the studio, which is also reflected in the result." - says the band in a comment.
